jck asked: I’m a long-term fan of the guitar and piano and have finally been able to sign up for guitar lessons at school. My friend has offered to help me with the guitar. I don’t want to waste his time with the basics but I also dont’ want to learn the fundamentals wrong. I’ve never held a guitar and I’m not sure if the new teacher teachs notes or tabs. I understand how to read notes and I get the idea behind tabs but besides that, I’m completely in the dark.Any tips or suggestions are more than welcome! Thanks!

SPARKY MAJOR asked: i have a car battery charger , but as we all know that doesn’t last long with an amp at high volumes , the equalizer shouldn’t need to much power as am only going to use 2 tweeters and 2 little speakers for high frequencies and midrange and the amp will be running a subwoofer. I have a Pioneer Head unit DEH-P7600. I know quiet a lot about car audio and i can easily hook up a car setup in a car but i just wanted to know how i can hook it up in the house and not damage the equipment.
Your help will really be appreciated. PLEASE HELP ME

Aisel asked: Will added amplifiers enhance my stock car speakers? Is that the best thing to do and buy a sub (which stock cars don’t have) to have cheaper expenses on audio setup aside from buying second hand audio instruments/speakers?
I have a car but no much money to customize it so I need the most efficient way to modify my ride. Thank you for helping me.

music_literature_freak asked: If I practice every day and have a lesson once a week, how long will it take for me to become really good? I already know how to read music (I play the violin and the piano), and I already have an acoustic guitar. I know this question should be in the music section, but I wanted to put this question in the adolescent section to see what people my age have to say about this.
Also: Is there anyone here who plays the guitar and is good? How long have you been playing the guitar for? How long did it take you before you became good at the guitar?
