What subwoofer, amplifier and power cap combination would be best for my current setup and car?

I currently own a 2002 Citroen Xsara and would like to expand my current audio system to include a subwoofer and amplifier, although I am unsure if I would also need a power cap. My current CD Player is a JVC KD-AR7500 and I have a set of four speakers, one with a pair of tweeters in the front.
