SpaceMonkey67 asked: Our church’s VBS starts today. We are all very excited. Especially our little girls.
My wife is the games leader, while I am “Rowdy the Cowboy”, the side kick for the sing & play leader. Five days of short skits and praise songs. Wah-Hoo!

The North Face: Men’s Free Thinker Jacket - Add style to your ski wardrobe this winter with this tapered waterproof and breathable Free Thinker Jacket from The North Face. Made from triple layers of Gore-Tex® XCR® Enduro fabric, the Free Thinker masters the elements with a slight taper along the torso that hints at all the right elements of style. If the breathable fabric isn’t enough for you, unzip the rotated core vents and chill. The North Face designed the Free Thinker Jacket with an infused polymer design and waterproof polyurethane zippers for optimal weather protection, making this shell a great choice for skiing in coastal mountain ranges where the snow is always a little less dry than the inland fluffy Continental Divide stuff. The Free Thinker has plenty of pockets for your gear and an integrated Recco® avalanche rescue reflector for those times that you meander through the danger zones. Add a tapered fleece middle layer and you’re set to go in style.
* Rugged, waterproof and breathable triple-ply Gore-Tex® XCR&Reg; Enduro fabric
* Fully seam-sealed construction with an infused polymer design and waterproof polyurethane zipper technology
* Integrated Recco® avalanche rescue reflector
* Rotated core vents for cooling
* Zippered internal security pocket for your wallet and small valuables
* Zippered Napoleon pocket on left chest
* Goggle wipe cloth pocket
* Full-length front zipper with offset design to minimize chafing
* Fully adjustable drop hood
* Adjustable powder skirt with gripper elastic and Pant-A-locks attachments for connecting to pants
* Weight: 36.6 oz. (1,037 g.)

sexteta asked:
Awesome mash up by The Avalanches that makes this album track from Wham!’s ‘Fantastic’ album into a modern funky disco classic.
The two tracks mashed up are Ray of Sunshine by Wham! (written by George Michael) and Zdarlight (Starlight) by Digitalism.
And the two videos i’ve mashed up are from a Wham! video of them playing football in China (which had Ray of Sunshine playing over the top of it) and the Digitalism music video for Zdarlight. Not to mention a few random images that i couldn’t help but put in, sorry…
More waffling at http://cheesymusic.blogspot.com/2008/08/ray-of-zdarlight-avalanches-wham-vs.html

Tessie asked: I’m just curious to hear interesting stories…me for example, I broke my left arm so severely when I was 11 that it was bent past 90* in the middle of my arm
details people…I’ve been through a few hurricanes to…losing power, water and a few shingles isn’t a big deal…but if you’re mentioning it…it must be a bigger deal than that, so say why it was such a big deal
too! I **** it when I do that (too)
